Australia is host to some amazing creatures, and now also to a 62-mile-long colony of non-native ants.

How long before they manage to kill off all of Australia's own insects?

If we're going to survive on this planet, we're going to have to eat less meat.

According to this report from the BBC, poachers have cut the number of northern white rhinos living in the wild to between 17 and 22.

Looks like this is one species we'll soon only remember in photographs.
